Ronn was asked for an introduction to NEXTYPE and he responded in the following way:
Sure. NEXTYPE is a blockchain game distribution platform and we have launched several games. MiningTycoon is the Economic System Engine of NEXTYPE. Its core function is to produce NEXTYPE’s platform token NT. MiningTycoon is the first game in the NEXTYPE ecosystem with virtual mining as core gameplay. Players could stake to mine NEXTYPE ecology token $NT in several exciting ways.

The Crypto Hague’s Question: What Led to the Birth of the NEXTYPE project? Can you walk us through its inception? Who are the founders, team, and backers of the project?
Ronn’s Response: NEXTYPE was established by a group of game enthusiasts. It is about the last year, we realized that blockchain could revolution the traditional game industry. But there were lots of blockchain games without high-quality, lacking gameplay. That is why we decided to create NEXTYPE, we are trying to bring some fantastic games into this market.
The team of NEXTYPE is composed of pioneers in the game industry, blockchain technology geeks, and Fintech elites, who have worked for NGBI/Activision/Standard Chartered Bank/Reuters/McClaughill, and other global well-known companies. The core members are in the USA, Russia, Japan, Korea, Canada, Hong Kong, and Australia, with distributed collaboration as the primary way of working.
The Crypto Hague’s Question: When you talk about high-quality gameplay, what would you be referring to, are there any metrics to measure such quality? Also, can you explain how mining tycoon fits into the high-quality gameplay category? Feel free to show us pictures or videos to buttress your points, please?
Ronn’s Response: I am not sure if you have played any traditional games before. Compared to those 3A big games, we can say that blockchain games, this industry still has lots to improve, to optimize. We think the basic rule for the game is to let players have a fun experience. In the GameFi fields, we must add the [Earn] attribute on it. So regarding MiningTycoon, it is aimed at developing an interesting game with the properties of games and blockchain, which is developed in the path of traditional games. MiningTycoon uses virtual mining as a core game method. In addition to NT reward, mining will also produce other buff props, such as Mining License, which is an essential prop to participate in the high-level BTC mining pool. Players can collect and stake the Mining License to get BTC every day. And players can get NFT through staking mining. We are trying to bring the initial fun of playing games back to this industry.
The Crypto Hague’s Question: Do you think NEXTYPE is ever going to integrate games like Call of Duty into its ecosystem? Shooter games are fun too, you know?
Ronn’s Response: Yes of course. FPS games are really interesting with lots of players. We are very glad to have various types of games in our ecosystem. And actually, there are several shooting games in this hackathon, and we will build connections with them and cooperate with them to bring more surprise and fun to our users.
The Crypto Hague’s Question: What blockchain is your ecosystem built on?
Ronn’s Response: BNB Chain and HECO Chain currently. We are planning to cross-chain to more chains with solid users base in the future
Why did you start with these two? What advantages do they offer to your ecosystem that puts them ahead of the rest?
Ronn’s Response: That is a good question. Actually, we started on HECO first, and we crossed-chain to BNB in October last year. We chose HECO because Huobi Global has a significant influence in Asia, especially in Southeast Asia. So HECO attracts a lot of active users in these areas. So we believe that will be a great help to our project launch. Besides, HECO is willing to contribute a lot to our project, which is also vital for a new project. For example, we have held several joint campaigns to attract users to join in our ecosystem at the startup stage and several AMAs in the HECO official community. After the developing phase, we want to access more users worldwide. Then BNB Chain would be the best choice for us.
We’ve seen some numbers on your website. Numbers like 400,000 gamers, and $11,000,000 player yield value. Are these aesthetics for the website, or are there verifiable proofs of these stats? Care to share?
Ronn’s Response: Yes. They are all valid data. Since the launch of our first game, there have been more than 400,000 independent addresses that accessed our products. And the value yield by players means the NT and BTC the players mined in our games.
When did you start building your products, and so far, how many proposed products are live and fully functional? Also, did you onboard traditional gamers, or does your ecosystem comprise mainly of crypto enthusiasts who play for the rewards?
Ronn’s Response: Let me answer the first question first. We started to develop our products since April last year. So far, we have MiningTycoon V2, REBORN, NFT Master, and NT GameBox online and active, especially, MiningTycoon has more than 3,000 active users daily. And we planned to launch more products to complete the GameFi Infrastructures. In the future, the products like NSWAP, NDEX, and NT Gamebox will form the infrastructures of the GameFi field to bring our users the whole experience, including the primary market, secondary market, NFT minting, auction, lending, and synthesis, which will provide a more significant improvement value for each game under the NEXTYPE ecosystem.
Regarding the users’ composition, I think all GameFi projects face the same issue. That is, the players pay more attention to how to earn in your game rather than how to play. It is mostly because, compared with the traditional games, blockchain games still have lots to improve as I mentioned before, including game performance, gameplay design, player friendliness, etc. But we can see that many blockchain games with better images are emerging as the development of this whole blockchain industry. I believe this kind of situation will change very soon.
Has there been any successful integration of the NEXType protocol with an existing traditional game? How many traditional games have been able to plug into the NEXTYPE SDK?
Ronn’s Response: We have re-built some traditional games with blockchain technology before, pushing them into the market through NT GameBox. But the market feedback is not as good as we expect. The same obstacle is that you must cut off some gameplay and image performance to fit the on-chain situation. That is exactly what players care about for traditional games. But we are developing another game, NEO FANTASY, which is also inspired by some traditional games. This time, we have optimized it to adapt the blockchain performance and maintain the same traditional images and gameplay. We expect it will be launched in early June.

If you were to rate your community strength and support (0–10), where would you put it? Will you be willing to test this out in an exercise?
Ronn’s Response: Haha. This is a tough one. I will not say that our community is very supportive, but we do have some core and loyal users. How will the exercise work?
We’ve seen projects which built on trends die out after a while in the blockchain space. Currently, GameFi is a major trend in the crypto space and NEXTYPE seems to be doing pretty well. What happens when the current hype dies, what plans are set in place for the sustainability of your ecosystem, and also to make sure your tokens retain value. Do you have any plans for when players dump en’ masse?
Ronn’s Response: To be honest, I will not say that GameFi is on the trend right now. I think the peak of the GameFi trend was at the end of last year. After that, this field started to become calm and rational. When the trend comes, you follow it; when the trend goes, you create a new one. We are not planning to be just a blockchain game developer. Instead, we are dedicated to contributing to this field more and finally becoming the mature GameFi distribution and incubation platform, like STEAM in the traditional game field. We will connect with all kinds of resources that GameFi projects need for development and bring them to the high-quality GameFi startups so as to boost the whole GameFi industry development. I believe during this process, as our ecological token, NT’s value will emerge gradually.
Are there plans for users outside your ecosystem to adopt NDEX? Or was it created solely to serve the NEXTYPE ecosystem?
Ronn’s Response: Apparently, it will serve the games under the NEXTYPE ecosystem. It will provide liquidity for tokens/NFTs swapping from different games to bring convenience to our users.
What measures do you have in place to ensure the genuineness of projects that launch via your platform?
Ronn’s Response: Protecting the security of our users’ assets is our top priority. Except for the basic audit and KYC, we have a professional team to evaluate the GameFi project from the following aspects: Product Quality: Refers to the overall sense of the quality of the game, including art style, world outlook, story theme, UI / UE, dynamic effect, etc. Gameplay Innovation: Refers to the game’s innovation at the gameplay level and the unique gameplay design, game system design, etc., compared with the popular game products in the market. Economic System: Refers to the economic system design and numerical design in the game, which is considered from the dimensions of rationality, attraction, long-term mechanism, and user stickiness. User-friendliness: Refers to the friendliness of the game to users, which is considered from the entry cost of the game, the difficulty of operation, the difficulty of system understanding, the depth of game content, etc. Core Team: Refers to the experience, R & D ability, understanding of blockchain and GameFi, and attitude of the core R & D team to ensure the games launched on our platform are reliable with high-quality.
What platforms are your NFTs tradeable on? Are there plans to create more awareness and exposure to larger audiences for NFTs created in your ecosystem?
Ronn’s Response: We have our own NFT trading platform NFT Master, here is the link: https://nftmaster.nextype.finance/ NFTs in NEXTYPE are not just something you can collect. Instead, we will empower them with special game benefits. For example, you can use them as game props to increase the APR and earn more NT in MiningTycoon, or you can just stake them in the NFT Mining Pools to earn NT directly.
Can you give us the details of your tokenomics? What have you done with this area that hasn’t been done before? Why do you think your token model can stand the test of time?
Ronn’s Response: Speaking of tokenomics, we just announced our NT burning plan yesterday and more than half of NT supply will be burnt in the near future. NT is our ecological token, which means it will be used in all kinds of scenarios in the NEXTYPE ecosystem, especially at these points: 1. Participate in IGO with priority when the new game goes online according to the number of NT holding/staked, the computing power, and level in MininnTycoon to win NT rewards and Whitelist qualification. 2. Purchase new game NFTs with a discount when first released 3. In NDEX, NT and new game tokens will form liquidity pairs, and these LP tokens can be staked in MiningTycoon to earn additional revenue. 4. Participate in platform governance (DAO), such as voting on the gameplay system and economic model of new games, to really allow players to participate in the game R&D and create games belonging to the community together. Meanwhile, you can also run for positions like administrators and CMO in Game Guild. The final candidates will be selected by community voting and win the corresponding NT reward. In addition to rich application scenarios, NT also has a continuous burning mechanism. The burning process is publicized on the official channels every week. Therefore, the future value space of NT is vast. Referring to the development route of ETH, BNB, and other ecological platforms tokens, the value of NT will be gradually excavated and amplified in three to four years. At present, it is still at a low price, and the cost of putting into the game is relatively low, which is a better time.
Does NEXTYPE have plans to enter into the competitive E-sports World?
Ronn’s Response: Yes. We do have connections with some E-sports teams in Southeast Asia, and we are planning to cooperate in the NFT area. Sorry I can not tell too much about this cause everything is not confirmed yet.
You have proposed a DAO. Will there ever be a time where the community will be in total control of decisions or is it a situation where the project still wields the most power? Or is the DAO concept a mirage?
Ronn’s Response: I just mentioned our NT burning plan. We just offered a number of how many NT will be burnt, and all the burning details will be decided by our users, including when, how many rounds, etc. DAO mechanism is not very easy to carry on, but we have started it.
How best can you describe your role in crypto mass adoption?
Ronn’s Response: Yes indeed. Crypto is a huge concept with so many different but vital categories, such as DeFi, NFT, DAO, Social-Fi, etc. We focus just on the small but solid range that is GameFi. As crypto believers, we all believe that web3 is coming and Metaverse will change this world completely. I think the game is the easiest way for traditional users to enter the crypto world. We want to build the GameVerse for this fantastic MetaVerse.
